Coming Soon: Official Nominee List Announcement for the TASTE AWARDS

The TASTE AWARDS Committee would like to announce that the screening and voting panels and working groups for this year’s annual TASTE AWARDS have completed their tasks and the results are currently being tabulated for the year’s best in lifestyle media programming and content.

Over this week and next various updates, media alerts, etc. will go out, culminating with the announcement of this year’s Finalist Nominees in mid-February.

Additional information will also be released at that time about this year’s awards ceremony format. As you know, in normal times this awards show takes place in Beverly Hills, and in 2021 was virtual due to COVID.

We would also like this time to offer our condolences to friends and family of cultural icon Andre Leon Talley, who in 2021 was inducted into the 8th Class of the Taste Hall Of Fame.

Often considered “the Oscars of Food, Fashion and Lifestyle Media,” The TASTE AWARDS in Beverly Hills are the premier awards uniquely celebrating the year’s best Food, Drink, Fashion, Fitness, Travel, How To, and Lifestyle programming on Television, in Film, Streaming and Online, in Podcasts, on Radio and in Photography.

TASTE AWARDS Pre-Announce Remaining General Category Award Winners

The TASTE AWARDS are pleased to pre-announce all remaining General Category Award Winners for its 10th Anniversary Year.

The award winners for the following categories have been pre-announced:

BEST BRANDED CONTENT, BEST CHEF IN A SERIES, BEST FASHION FILM, BEST FOOD OR DRINK RADIO BROADCAST, BEST FOOD PROGRAM: TELEVISION, BEST GREEN OR ORGANIC PROGRAM, SERIES OR FILM, BEST HOME DECOR AND DESIGN PROGRAM, BEST KIDS PROGRAMS, FILMS & DOCUMENTARIES, BEST NEW SERIES, BEST REALITY SERIES, BEST SINGLE TOPIC SERIES, BEST SOCIAL MEDIA SHORT VIDEO, BEST ETHNIC CONTENT, and others.

Regional awards are also announced for France, Australia, Canada, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, Latin/South America, and “Hollywood”.

In addition, the awards announce that this year’s 10th Anniversary Red Carpet Awards Show, Reception and Ceremony will take place on March 18th, at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills.

TASTE AWARDS Add New Award Categories, including Best VR

The TASTE AWARDS Committee is pleased to announce new award categories have been added, including for Best Virtual Reality Film or Documentary.

The addition of the VR Category comes after last year’s awards for best Technological Innovation went to three VR companies, as well as the growing amount of VR content being created across genres.

 

Best Virtual Reality Film or Documentary (VR)

Best VR. Any Length. Entry should be about or noticeably include visuals, topic, or content that spotlights either food, fashion, design, action sports, exercise or travel.

Other categories that have been added or revised include:

  • Best Kids Programs, Films or Documentaries
  • Best Action Sports, Adventure, or Outdoors Film
  • Best Ethnic Lifestyle Films or Documentaries (Black/Latino/Asian)
  • Music Video of the Year

TASTE AWARDS Viewers Choice Winners announced in Beverly Hills

­The TASTE AWARDS Committee, the Academy of Media Tastemakers, the Advisory Board, Ambassadors, and Partners and Sponsors are pleased to announce the VIEWERS CHOICE Winners for the 8th Annual TASTE AWARDS
