Now in its 14th year, the annual TASTE AWARDS is televised across the United States in 2023.

This star-studded television special is broadcast exclusively on select public television stations nationwide, and is also viewable on the PBS Video on Demand app.

Award winners who accepted their awards in person included well-known celebrities Al Roker and Lidia Bastianich. In addition Kathy Fang (House of Fang/Food Network), and network executives such as Chris Knight (CEO, Gusto TV), and Lisa-Renee Ramirez (President, Lifestyle Networks & Executive Producer, Allen Media Group / Entertainment Studios) were attendance, along with producers and representatives from Nat Geo/Disney, Turner Classic Movies, and more such as Edward Delling-Williams, Zahirah Marty, Jenny Buckley, and Zarela, as well as the the winner of this year’s inaugural Bob Saget Award for Best Comedy or Humor.

This season’s ceremony included hosts Michelle Harris (Alive and Well TV, syndicated nationwide), Emmy-award winning actor Kim Estes, Stuart Brazell (TV + Digital Host, Actor, Creator), plus Award Presenters Margaret McSweeney (host and producer, Kitchen Chat), Marcel Vigneron (Top Chef, restaurateur, TV host), and Bita and Beata (Modern Persian Food). The 2023 Ambassador and Miss TASTE AWARDS was Amanda Sophia Moran.

Nominees Announced on January 5th for 14th Annual TASTE AWARDS

The TASTE AWARDS Committee is pleased to announce that Finalist Nominees for the 14th Annual TASTE AWARDS will be announced on Thursday, January 5, 2023.  This announcement will also include the first round of Honorees, as well as the finalists for Viewers Choice Awards.

The TASTE AWARDS final awards will be presented in the first in-person awards ceremony since March 2020, scheduled to take place March 13, 2023 in Beverly Hills. Limited Early Bird Tickets for the event are now available.

TASTE AWARDS Announce First In-Person Ceremony since 2020, Extends Call for Entries

 

The TASTE AWARDS Committee is pleased to announce the first in-person awards ceremony since March 2020 will take place March 13, 2023 in Beverly Hills.

Now in its 14th year, the annual TASTE AWARDS are the premier and original awards celebrating the year’s best in Food, Fashion, Travel, Health and Lifestyle programming on Television, in Film, in Online & Streaming Video, and in Apps, Radio, Podcasts and Photography.

Portions of the live ceremony will be recorded for later broadcast in the televised awards show on select public television stations throughout the United States.

In honor of the new event date, the Committee has extended this year’s Nomination Submission period to November 2nd.

The TASTE AWARDS star-studded television special is broadcast exclusively on select public television stations nationwide, and is also viewable on the PBS App on Demand. On April 20th, the TASTE AWARDS present a gourmet dinner screening of selected award-nominated short films and features at San Francisco’s famous Foreign Cinema restaurant. Join fans and great food & wine lovers in the outdoor patio area for “Dinner and a Movie,” showcasing the famous menu that makes Forbes Magazine say: “For one of the most unique dining experiences in San Francisco head to the Mission District’s Foreign Cinema, a restaurant that brings together the best of both film and culinary worlds.”

TASTE AWARDS Screenings run from approximately 8p-10pm.
