The 13th Annual TASTE AWARDS to be Nationally Televised in 2022

Now in its 13th year, the annual TASTE AWARDS has announced that it will be broadcast across the United States in May and June 2022, and you are requested to join.

This star-studded television special will be broadcast exclusively on select public television stations nationwide. Celebrity award presenters for this broadcast include Tyler Florence, Joanne Weir, Darley Newman, Chef Jernard Wells, Michelle Harris, Kim Estes, Lorna Maseko, Nikki Dinki, Andrea Feczko, Danielle Nottingham, Kitchen Chat, Chef JJ Johnson, and more.

The 13th annual TASTE AWARDS is distributed nationally to public television stations via NETA, a national program distributor and public media affiliate organization that serves hundreds of PBS stations nationwide with programming and professional services.

The 13th Annual TASTE AWARDS ceremony has been produced in a pre-recorded format for broadcast in May and June 2022 (check local listings for dates and times) and is also viewable on the PBS Video app.

TASTE AWARDS Announces Official Charity, Kids Cooking for Life

The TASTE AWARDS committee is pleased to announce that the Official Charity of the 2021 awards is KIDS COOKING FOR LIFE. Helping children in underserved communities learn life skills around food and diet, Kids Cooking For Life (KCL) was founded in 2009 to teach nutrition and inspire lifelong healthy cooking and eating habits through hands-on cooking classes to students from low socio-economic communities.

We encourage everyone to find out more about this organization, and to support its objectives via donations, material donations of spices and appliances and cooking utensils, as well as by spreading the message via word-of-mouth

This boutique wine was developed by R&B Cellars for TasteTV and the Awards for food, wine & chocolate lovers.

The wine is a reflection of America’s heritage grape; the base of this blend is Zinfandel from the Del Barba and Favalora Vineyards in Contra Costa county. Both vineyards are over 25 years old and are a combination of trellised and head trained vines. Contra Costa fruit often yields one of the most classic expressions of Zinfandel: red cherries, hints of plum, and a little spiciness. Married together with Petite Sirah from both Napa Valley and Lake County and a touch of Lake County Mourvedre, it was aged in a combination of French and American oak. This ‘Zin’ blend is luscious and mouth filling. It can be perfectly matched with a myriad of dishes such as roasts, burgers, lamb, goose, dark chocolate, or even Portabella mushrooms.
